In Stores, Finally.

We seem to be coming apart at the seams slightly, but never fear, we will soldier on, because that is what brave Toucan Editrices do. Issue 8 (Eight, Liz, EIGHT!!!!) is now in its locations for regular distributions: Quimby's, ShopColumbia, and Women and Children First in Chicago, Illinois. BUT we have a new one on the list, Chicago Comics, 3244 N. Clark Street. Check it out if you have a hankering for Wolfman as well. The Incredible Growing Toucan, sadly, has not been sketched yet.

So you know, Quimby's now only has Issues 6,7, and 8 in stock. ShopColumbia has all issues, but in limited quantities for 1-6. Both WCF and Chicago Comics only have Issue 8. We're experimenting to see if having less issues actually increases sales, and this is also time for a shoutout to Women and Children First for having SOLD OUT of Toucans. Just another reason to love this store. If you'd like a copy of our earlier efforts, which showed off our infancy and entertaining adolescence as a publication, drop us a line at Issues cost $3 apiece plus a buck for postage for a grand total of $4, but if you can convince you deserve free Toucans, by all means give it a shot. We're generous souls.

Also, we're looking at options for wider distribution, because we don't have enough to do with our lives. If you have any suggestions, whether in the Chicagoland area or not, leave a comment after this post, or on our Facebook page, or always shoot us an email. Ideally, it should be at a store for money, but sometimes folks volunteer to leave copies at local spots to get our name out there. And that's really the end goal.

Thanks as always, Toucan Fans. Now go pony up for a print copy so you don't have to deal with this ridiculous blog. Keep reading, writing, and....sigh...submitting.

PS: Also check out our review by a great writer, Owl Who Laughs. And we swear he's not on salary.
