Poem of the Week, No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti, Gordon Mason

Yes, we know we're early, but we'll be busy tomorrow. Gordon Mason's a real standup Scot who knows more than a little Spanish and, like any Scotsman worth his sheep and kilt, an appreciation of beauty. He also has a great poetry site with a great name, Catapult To Mars, which you should peruse and perhaps send some work to. They're great about publishing multilingual poetry (and Editrice Liz), which we would be if we knew more than a little Spanish. Nevertheless, we can't live without you, readers, so enjoy.

Also, find us next week at Chicago Zine Fest! More info soon!

No puedo vivir sin ti

by Gordon Mason

Pips of after-rain
a glint of an abacus
on green railings

caught beneath a white moon.
Your fingers wrap mine
a blur of apricot freckles

blushed with pollen.
I whisper my wishes
through the webbing.
