I am southbound, and She is
a craft that swims through the sky
like cream in black coffee.
I try and pull myself up to meet
Her, so that maybe,
maybe I can be mended.
Her flash past,
I remain empty in blackest
hollow cup, soft wet earth
the bitter grounds.
