Poem of the Week-Greed, Joseph Farley

Short, sweet, and to the point, this poem also doubles as our demands when we take over the universe. Thanks, Joseph Farley. Couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Greed

by Joseph Farley

1.

give me lordship

over all

give me property

and make it law

give me property

under god

give me property

or death

for you

not me

2.

give me land

give me oceans

filled with sand

a large moon

and a strong rake

and hours

of calm mediation

to trace patterns

in the dark

for the wind

to blow away

by morning light.
